About Tom Saviello |
|
Tom came to the State in
1972 to pursue his master’s degree in Agronomy at the University of
Maine. He stayed at Orono to complete his PhD in Forest Resources in
1978. That same year he entered the forest products industry as a
research forest and later be came the manager of the Northern Forest
research Center. In
1991 he became the Manager of Environment at the paper mill in jay,
Maine. Today he remains the manager along with serving as an adjunct
professor at the University of Maine Farmington. |

| Tom was elected to the State
legislature representing District 90 in 2002 and has completed this 3rd
term. He lives in Wilton with his dog Baxter. He has two adult children, Ben
and Allison. |
